About the competition
Ideas become projects. Projects find a stage.
Organised by YCESS, YAI Singapore brings creativity and technology together through an AI project season. Students choose one of four quests, develop an idea at home or at school, test what they make and explain their own decisions.
The season ends with Demo Weekend in Singapore. Finalist teams present live, and every participant is welcome to join the weekend. No typed code or new equipment is required: projects can use age-appropriate free tools, block coding or equipment teams already have.
Who it’s for
Three divisions. Room for every starting point.
Divisions are based on age on 16 January 2027. Each division explores the same four quests, with expectations suited to its age group.
Ages 7–12
Primary

Ages 13–17
Secondary
A prototype you can demo, with a test table and one round of improvements.
Ages 18–24
University
A working result, with a clear test method and known limits.
