The Association, in collaboration with Qingdao Yueji Music School, recently organized a successful Singapore Music Education Exchange Event. A delegation of over ten young music learners visited the Singapore Raffles Music College (SRMC) and participated in an exclusive Piano Masterclass conducted by Ms. Emma Jiang. Integrating campus tours, professional learning, and cultural exchange, this initiative provided a valuable opportunity for students to experience Singapore’s higher music education environment firsthand, broaden their artistic horizons, and deepen their professional understanding.

The event commenced with a guided tour of the Singapore Raffles Music College. Students explored the campus and its professional facilities, including practice rooms and recording studios. Furthermore, it provided deeper insights into Singapore’s music education philosophy and practical pathways within a globalized context. Set in a multicultural environment, Singapore’s music education consistently emphasizes both rigorous professional training and artistic dissemination. Part 2: High-Profile Masterclass with Ms. Emma Jiang

The subsequent Masterclass served as the highlight of the event. As a pianist, performer, and postgraduate supervisor at Singapore Raffles Music College, Ms. Emma Jiang brings a wealth of stage experience and systematic teaching expertise to her students. As a member of both the Singapore Music Association and the Singapore Composers Association, she has long been immersed in the local professional music ecosystem, possessing a profound understanding of Singapore’s music education development, artistic practice, and cultural dissemination.

Currently, Ms. Jiang is pursuing advanced studies in EMBA Educational Psychology. This allows her to focus not only on core performance techniques during her mentorship but also on students’ comprehension, learning states, expressive consciousness, and psychological preparation for the stage.

During the Masterclass, Ms. Jiang delivered a progressive, thorough, and in-depth lecture covering multiple critical dimensions of piano performance:
