International HPV Awareness Day
HPV is the human papillomavirus. Almost all of us will contract HPV at some point, and while it is harmless for most, it is linked to several cancers. The HPV vaccine has the potential to impact the global eradication of certain types of cancers, particularly cervical cancer and other HPV-related cancers.
Getting the HPV vaccine can prevent HPV infection, enhance herd immunity, reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, and decrease the occurrence of other HPV-related cancers.HPV 是人乳头瘤病毒，我们几乎所有人都会在某个阶段感染 HPV。虽然对大多数人来说无害，但 HPV 与多种癌症密切相关。HPV 疫苗有望在全球范围内消除某些类型的癌症，尤其是宫颈癌及其他与 HPV 相关的癌症。

Co-hosting Organizations
The Alliance for Active Action Against HPV and the art education center Tree Art jointly hosted a charity painting competition for the first time, raising $800,000 in goods and donations for SATA CommHealth.
The painting competition attracted 616 young artists, with the theme of envisioning a world without cancer.
The entries have been uploaded to the fundraising platform Giving.sg since the 18th of last month to raise funds for SATA CommHealth’s cervical cancer vaccination program, continuing until October 17.
“积极对抗 HPV 联盟”与艺术教育中心 Tree Art 首次联合举办慈善绘画比赛，为 SATA CommHealth 筹集了总值 80 万美元的物资与捐款。
本次绘画比赛吸引了 616 名青少年艺术家参与，以“无癌世界”为主题进行创作。
自上月 18 日起，参赛作品已上传至筹款平台 Giving.sg，为 SATA CommHealth 的宫颈癌疫苗接种计划募款，活动将持续至 10 月 17 日。
