On September 7, 2025, several outstanding teams from different campuses of Futurum Academy gathered at United Square to prepare for the Singapore VRC & VIQC Robotics Championships scheduled for February next year.

本次活动比赛规则Competition Rules for This Event
On a 6×8 feet arena, the children complete stacking, transporting, and collaborative tasks using robots.
They build Stacks with Pins and Beams, earning points through different arrangements and combinations.
Stack the pieces and place them accurately into the target zone!
在6×8英尺的赛场上,孩子们将通过机器人完成 堆叠、搬运、合作的任务。
使用Pins和Beams搭建出的Stack,通过不同的排列组合方式获取高分。

Scoring Highlights:

Building and connecting Pins & Beams earns base points.

Using different color combinations grants bonus points.

Transporting the Stack to the Goal or connecting Beams to Pins provides additional high-score bonuses!

The Futurum Academy teams lived up to expectations.

The VEX Robotics Competition, also known as the VEX Robotics World Championship, was founded in 2003 by REC, the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation in the United States. Hosted by the foundation, it is a large-scale international competition open to students worldwide, from elementary school to university level.
VEX机器人竞赛,又称VEX机器人世界锦标赛(VEX Robotics Competition),由全球最大的机器人赛事平台REC(美国机器人教育与竞赛基金会)于2003年创办,由教育基金会主办,是面向全球小学生到大学生的大型国际赛事。



比赛旨在通过推广教育型机器人,融合应用物理、数学、计算机编程、数字样机和设计等多学科,拓展青少年学生对科学、技术、工程和数学(STEM)领域兴趣,激发学习潜能,提高并促进青少年的团队合作精神、领导才能和解决问题能力,帮助他们发现自己的价值。
The competition aims to promote educational robotics by integrating multiple disciplines such as physics, mathematics, computer programming, digital prototyping, and design. It seeks to broaden young students’ interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), stimulate their learning potential, and enhance teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills, helping them discover their own value.
